All students must adhere to the
following policies regarding attire and conduct.
PROPER ATTIRE
Brazilian Jiu Jitsu: A full jiu jitsu gi, purchased only
from the school, is the proper attire for all Brazilian Jiu Jitsu
classes. Sometimes the jacket will be eliminated for certain drills,
however uniforms are required for every class. All students must wear a
belt color that signifies their Brazilian jiu jitsu rank, not their rank
in some other style.
Muay Thai: Modest, loose fitting workout shorts or "MMA
board shorts" and a school rash guard or school T-shirt is required for all Muay
Thai classes. Muay Thai shorts may also be worn by
students who have reached an appropriate skill level determined by the
instructor. MMA training gloves, purchased only from the school, are
also required for every class.
A mouthpiece and trimmed and clean fingernails/ toenails are also
required for all classes.
CONDUCT
Courtesy and good sportsmanship must be displayed at all times.
No foul language or vulgarity will be tolerated.
No form of sexual harassment will be tolerated.
More advanced and/or stronger students must be charitable to less
advanced and/or less strong students by not causing them any unnecessary
discomfort, injury, or embarrassment.
Failure to observe any of the above may be grounds for
permanent removal from the class
